Welcome, I'm Gemma, an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist living in Jersey, Channel Islands.

I help teams supporting children in care or with complex needs. Working in these roles can be challenging and overwhelming, and it's not always easy to know the best way to respond. I know this from personal experience.

I also help parents who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure if they're getting things "right". Together we help slow down, get curious and figure out how to bring calmness into your family home.

I offer limited direct work with young people providing psychotherapy, and supporting them to manage big feelings, grow and thrive.

My work is a mixture of in person in St. Helier and online in the UK. Online sessions more flexibility for teams and busy parents, and provides the screen time you want your children to have.

Commitment to Healing
I am passionate and dedicated to supporting professionals around young people to feel supported and heard without judgement. I have worked in children's residential homes, specialist schools, mainstream secondary schools and more as a support worker and know the impact the challenges of these roles can have on your well-being.

I work with parents and professionals to empower them to trust their gut and feel confident in the care they provide. Together, we focus on relationships, regulation, and creating, calm, safe and growth-focused environments.

I work with parents who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure if they're 'getting things right'. You want to support your family and create a calm environment for your children to grow up in, but sometimes life feels chaotic and it's hard to know where to start. I help teams and professionals to provide therapeutic support for children and young people. I specialise in developmental trauma within children's residential homes, foster care, or specialist schools. Please get in touch and we can tailor the service to meet your needs.
